How does the reveal on the TV work?
You open the event screen on your TV (or cast it from any device with a browser) and guests join by scanning a QR code with their phones. From there, the countdown, the votes and the reveal itself stay in sync in real time across every phone and the big screen.
Do my guests need to install anything or sign up?
No. Guests simply scan the QR code and play from their phone's browser. No downloads, no account creation, no personal data — typing a name to join is all it takes.
Does it work remotely, with family in another city or country?
Yes. Anyone with the link or QR can take part live from wherever they are: the online gender reveal stays in sync for guests in the living room and for those joining from far away.
Is the scratch card really free?
Yes, and with no sign-up. You create your scratch card, get a link and share it: anyone who opens it can scratch from their phone. Keep in mind each scratch card is final — if you want to change something, you generate a new one with a new link.
How much does the TV Event cost?
During the beta, the full TV Event is free. Once we leave beta it will have a final price, announced in advance; events created during the beta are not charged.
What do I need on the day of the event?
A TV or screen to show the event on (with its own browser, or casting from a laptop, Chromecast or AirPlay), an internet connection and your guests' phones. That's it — no special equipment needed.
Can I do a twin or triplet reveal?
Yes. When creating the event you choose how many babies you're expecting and the reveal shows each result — on the scratch card too.
Do I need to download an app?
No — everything runs in the browser. If you want quick access, you can add RevealBaby to your home screen and use it like an app: on Android the browser will offer to install it, and on iPhone it's Share → Add to Home Screen.
